Originally the pattern was described as "Men's and Boy's Outing or Negligee Shirt; attached collar and plain cuffs, yoke back, two patch pockets and three-button closure." Written directions. Pattern dates circa 1920.
Suggested fabrics: Poplin and percale. The colors were white, cream white and fancy stripes.
