This pattern was published by The New Idea Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' Guimpe. In high neck with standing collar or open neck with flat collar, with one-seam sleeves in full-length, dart-fitted to elbow or bishop sleeves or without sleeves. Perforated for yoke facing or chemisette. Back closing." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1913.
Suggested fabrics: Lawn, pongee, China silk, and lingerie material. The colors were white, black, and tea.
Materials required: 1-7/8Yds. 36" wide.
This Vintage Revivals pattern is only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. This pattern is printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic.
