This pattern was published by The McCall Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' tie-on or button-on kimono. Originally designed as a maternity dress." Detailed directions. Pattern dates circa 1921.
Suggested fabrics: Kimonos were made of cotton crepe, beacon, corduroy, tussah, blanket cloth, and stout. The colors were navy blue, dark green, black, taupe, dark wine, and dark brown.
Materials required: 5-1/2 Yds. 36" wide fabric.
