This pattern was published by The New Idea Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' Blouse. To be slipped on over the head, with pointed yoke in front and square yoke in back, one-seam sleeves in full-length and plaited at wrist or in shorter length, cuffs and pocket openings may be omitted." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1917.
Suggested fabrics: Voile, poplin, net, habutai silk, tub silk, etamine cloth, crepe de Chine, and galatea. The colors were flesh, white, rose, blue, navy blue, black, paisley, Copenhagen blue, tan, green and lavender.
Materials required: 3-1/4 Yds. 36" wide.
This Vintage Revivals pattern is only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. This pattern is printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic.
