It was originally described as "Girls' One-Piece Smocked Dress, opening in front and to be slipped on over head with or without collar; one-piece full-length sleeve, smocked at wrist or perforated for short-length sleeve with cuff." Written directions. Pattern dates circa 1920.
Suggested fabrics: Gingham, chambray, percale, and madras. The colors were red, blue, pink, tan, and plaids.
Materials required: 2-1/2 Yds. 36" fabric.
